As we end the year, we'd like to look back at how eventful this year has been for all of us. I recall the words of the Russian poet, Apollo Maykov. "The darker the night, the brighter the stars," he said.

We began the year on an ambitious note with our journey set to achieve the goals we set ourselves. The pandemic began, driving the industry back, triggering a dramatic change in our creativity. Our previous forecasts in 2020 were met with unprecedented uncertainties and, like most organizations in the world, we were forced to scale down operations and re-strategize on virtual work.

There has been a move from offline media to online media, as digital media have seen a spike in consumption than ever before. More than ever, people spend more time online. The COVID-19 circumstances have led to a shift in the situational context – where changes or novel behaviors have arisen – telepresence has become the norm where dialog at the workplace is performed remotely, and teams work and collaborate from home. This forced change in the situational context can also contribute to innovative behaviors and new collaborations in the quest for new solutions.

I would like to thank the incredible team at The Fashionstar Magazine, who worked diligently amid the economic downturn, for their dedication, regardless of the downturn.

I'd also like to say a huge THANK YOU to our readers. Thank you very much for loving us.

Happy Holidays to all of you. Have a healthy new year.
